The Satellite Sentinel Project is on a media roll, helping to focus world attention on Sudan in influential outlets ranging from TIME Magazine, CNN's "Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer," ABC's "This Week with Christiane Amanpour," Al Jazeera, and BBC Arabic to pop culture platforms

On Sunday, as Sudanese voters participated in the first day of a week-long referendum on self-determination, CNN’s "Fareed Zakaria GPS" aired an interview with George Clooney and Enough Project Co-founder John Prendergast.

"Frankly, our team of policy wonks and super nerds could use an injection of MTV style,” George Clooney said today. And our Satellite Sentinel Project did just get a little hipper with the news that MTV and mtvU, the channel’s 24-hour college network, would team up to amplify the findings of the satellite imagery and analysis initiative.
